Angadi Silks is one of the largest collection in India. enthrall generations of women, A ravaging famine, in the 17th century, is said to have driven artisans from Gujarat to the holy town of Banaras (now Varanasi). Already established as a weaving hub, Banaras embraced these artisans who weaved strands of silk and threads of zari together.
